I love to have CSS2 or 3 support in Servoy!
Especially for formatting text and displaying proper html
This must be the most frequently requested feature in Servoy!
Meanwhile, the workarounds are
- either use it2be’s browser plugin or
- save HTML to a file and fire up native browser for proper CCS…

I think enhancing CSS would make Servoy one of the most powerfull tools on earth… if this isn’t allready the case !

Firstly, workarounds shouldn’t be something that’s in Servoy’s manual.
Secondly, these options are not appropiate if you want to -for example- generate HTML navigation (buttons) on the fly like I (and few more developers) do.
Sorry for mentioning that swear word,
WORK******
What is the workaround?
Generating buttons in html or using other tools to show them
Not that I want to start a semantic discussion but to me it seems that it is the first.
Buttons are something available within Servoy. So, by using html I presume you try to do something that is not possible (yet) and as such it seems to me that this is a workaround.
Using a bean or firing up a browser is using a tool that is made for the purpose and appropriate imho.
And, to speak against my own theory. A workaround does not exist. As long as something you create works it is not a workaround but a solution to the question
Just my 2 cents…
Apologies for hitchhiking this thread but I want to have a little fun today…
