data slips & displays half way down fields

Win 2000

Installed solution on customers laptop but halfway through demo the data being displayed slipped to half way down the fields - ie only the top half of letters/numbers could be seen. Tried variety of forms/tables and all had the same problem.

Exited Servoy and restarted. Initially OK but again after a time the data ‘slipped’.

Use Verdanna 11 and fields set to 20px. Text field margins set to 1,5,1,1

Hasn’t happened on my Win XP Pro laptop - is this a Win 2k issue?

Can I have 2 Questions for the price of 1 :lol:

Sometimes need to set number/integer fields with ‘horizontalAlignment’ set to Center. But next time open solution they have gone back to left aligned. Have tried setting margins at 1,1,1,1 and 0,0,0,0 but no change. Any suggestions ??

This could very well be a W2000 issue.
I’m also running W2000 and I’ve experienced the same thing on my laptop on a few occassions.

My colleagues run XP, Mac, Linux but never ran into this.

Is there anybody else who has ever seen this happen?

No not yet. My pc also runs on win2000 but I only run it for test purposes so that could be the reason.

If this is true though I will run into trouble very soon. My customer is going to install it on, mostly, win2000…
