Hi,
I have a form in TableView. One of the columns in the TableView displays a value over a relation (dataprovider=relationname.field).
The TableView columns are reorderable.
When the column with that displays the value over a relation is not in it’s original position (for example position 3) and one of the column headers is clicked (on any of the columns) the displayed value disappears.
The value appears again when you click on the record grid.
Anyone else sees this?
Paul
Did a test with crm demo but couldn’t reproduce it.
-contacts table view with related company_name
Maarten,
Discovered a additional condition for it to take place: The TableView shows only 1 record.
If multiple records are displayed, it goes fine, if only 1 record is displayed, and the column in question is not in it’s default location, then clicking the header of the TableView somewhere will make the value disapper.
To make sure it’s not something else I’m doing, I created the setup you tried it with in the CRM and I can reproduce it consistently.

I have seen something similar when using calcs several times. Field content is just not shown. It appears after you click on the field itself (not only the record).
that’s funny Paul,
I did manage to reproduce but only in this sequence
- reorder related field
- perform search with only 1 record result
- related field is now blank untill you click in one of the headers.
Will report back.
Patrick, if you come across an example, let me know.
thanks, guys.
Maarten,
To make it even more interesting:
- I also produced it now when there are more than 1 record shown… (go clicking around like mad on the headers to reproduce it…)
- If the field is blank and you move the focus to another App than Servoy, the field stays blank. But when you drag the window of the other app over the Servoy window, so that you cannot see the blank field and then keep on dragging the other window, so that the field becomes visible again, the value is filled again (The Servoy window hasn’t gotten focus back inbetween)
![Rolling Eyes ]()
Will be corrected in Servoy 2.2.2
