Downgrading problem from 3.0rc1 to 2.2.5 (Mac)

After running into problems with the 3.0rc1 version I wanted to do a new install of Developer 2.2.5. I ran the uninstall-script, which deleted Applications/Servoy. Then downloaded the 2.2 jar from servoy.com and installed it. (No errors). When I start Servoy it tells me that it cannot connect to the repository, since it is too new for this Servoy-version.

Repository found in database too new for this software version. Repository version: 29, software version: 27. Upgrade Servoy first.

So, what to do now?? And how can parts of the very same installation package be incompatible? :(

Hi Paul,

The repository is a database served under iAnywhere that comes bundled with Servoy.
This service is launched when you launch Developer but stays running after you quit Developer.
You have to quit that process (dbsrv9) yourself before (un)installing Servoy.

Thanks Robert!
Found it in the Process-list and killed it. Now it runs smoothly.
I had a Sybase Central trial install before, and now I’m wondering how to manage my databases, but I’m sure the docs will tell me that.
