Draw grid as lines instead of dots?

Would it be possible to have a checkbox in preferences to choose to have the grid drawn as solid lines or dots?

My background is design, and find the dotted grid difficult to work with. I’m used to seing the grid as solid lines, preferrably in a pale colour like gray.

In Servoy 2.0 rc8 it will be possible to set the grid dot size to 0 resulting in gridlines
