Drop Down lists

I inherited a project from another developer who left the company, I am just learning the environment, so please go easy on me.

He has a form, with three drop down lists

The first one I can see he does a query, then calls “application.setValueListItems('AAAA”, col2Array, col1Array")
The second one, same thing he does a different query, then calls “application.setValueListItems('BBBB”, col2Array, col1Array")

The third one is populated with data when the application is run, (I can see the data in a table, can change it to confirm it is re-populating from the table) but in searching the code for the project, I can not find any of the following referenced in code:
The name of the dropdown list
The name of the dataprovider
The name of the valuelist

I can not even find a reference to the field name, which I would expect to see in some type of query.

Is there a different method for populating these dropdown lists?

Did you figure this out? :)
In your place, I’d start by determining what shows that list. Is it a field (if so, what type of field?), is it something else? What is that list actually … combo dropdown, type-ahead list, popup etc.
If it’s a field, just select that field in form designer and have a look at the properties view.
