Hi Folks
We’ve been using the EJ Beans for building charts for some time now, and they have worked well in Servoy after some learning curve.
We started to build our DashBoards using the EJ Gauges and unfortunately we discovered that the way EJ license their beans (we need to enter the licence codes in the Properties file for charts - but they have to be declared in code at start-up for the gauges) the gauges are never licensed properly.
Servoy appears to qualify the beans at solution start-up before the license code gets the chance to license them. Hence regardless of how we do it we get the EJ Nag screens.
Despite EJ promising a fix for this for some weeks now, they have today stated that this is a Servoy issue? They will take it no further and hope Servoy will fix their (sic) problem.
Can someone from Servoy technical comment on their ability / willingness to fix this issue?
We’re open to suggestions for a cost effective replacement for the EJ beans that don’t require a wrapping in Servoy bean’s packages (we don’t know how to do that and time is now tight for completions so learning ‘how to’ is not an acceptable option at the moment)?
