Error getting the repository from host

We have multiple developers on 4.1.0. I have configured a server on a standalone W2003 server to act as our repository server.
I can checkout solutions and commit and what have you, but the other developer gets
Error getting the repository from host 192.168.1.127:1099
I can’t find a thing that tells me what is causing the error.
Can you help?

What is the difference between your settings and that of your other developers?

Port 1099 is used for rmi (remote method invocation).

Can you find anything in the logs?

Found it I think. useSSL was turned on for her, off for me.

Still, it had been working previously. Nothing in the logs. Something to keep an eye on in the future.
