Error popping up in dev [Requesting Script AST]

Hello everyone,

I am having trouble working on Servoy developer. On clicking on .js files of forms, I am getting multiple errors popping up in screens continuously. I am quite not sure what is causing this error. On seeing the metadata log from work space it seems to be caused because of some loop until it reached “Stack overflow” and then it throws “Requesting Script AST from selection”. Servoy IntelliSense is also not working any more. Please see the log file attached.

Please help me figuring out the problem.

On 7.4, it is not letting me work on the forms, while in 6.3(inherited from another developer) I was able to duck the pop up and work in the forms.

Steps done to fix:

  • Increased the heap size while developer start up(servoy.ini, 1GB space now).
  • Updated the java version to the latest [7u51].

This sounds a lot like SVY-6691. It’s probably the same bug.

Thank you for pointing me about this bug.

Few questions :
How I can also have that patch for this version, or I need to wait for the release of the next version?

Is installing Mylyn has to do something with it(I guess I have forgotten to uncheck that option while updating). If yes, how to uninstall Mylyn from servoy developer?

there is not really a patch, you need a new release of servoy (with a new eclipse dltk plugin release)

It is not (or shouldn’t be) related to Mylyn.
You can uninstall developer plugins/features from Help → About Servoy Developer → Installation Details.
