Export / Import of solution.servoy creates unwanted tables

just starting out, so no harm done
I added an ASA db, that starts with the repository server, and created forms using tables in that db
I then exported / imported this solution to another machine, and Servoy added the additional tables to “servoy_repository.db” by mistake
Servoy didn’t realize those tables belong to a separate db, as defined in preferences

  1. Are you really sure you used that new db?
  2. Did you have a db with that name available for the installation you deployed to (imported in)?
  3. When not 2 then did you accidentally select the repository to add the table to because there was no other db?

I will respond, just to close this out.

I added my sybase database, and it opened with “repository_server”, but somehow wasn’t recognized on import

so when prompted to “add tables to repository server”, I probably said “yes”

the solution opened, but with no records, using the newly created repository tables
this was confusing, since my database with those tables was also open, filled with records

is this reproducible? probably, but I really don’t wish to go back and check

I wiped everything out, and started over. No harm done
