Exporting carriage returns within textarea fields

When text with carriage returns is entered into a text field that has the displayType property set to TEXT_AREA and the data is exported in comma separated (csv) format, the carriage returns are lost. Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

yes the export is currently not working quite right with ‘\n’ in the text. Because we don’t provide you with an option to quote all text (What you do have with the import)
