Field height in table view

Hi all

I am sure this topic has been covered, but can’t find it.

I am building a solution which requires that I use table view (I gather it is faster to render, is easily sortable, and, crucially for this application, allows arrow key navigation). My question is that the customer wants the text to be bigger than I have so far built (currently font is Tahoma 10). I am happy to make the font bigger for them, but there seems no way to control the height of the table view fields. Is it possible to change their height?

Furthermore, one of these fields is an RTF field, which I have also set to a larger font, but this is ignored (is this a servoy client setting?) Ideally the field would grow in height as there is more data (their existing application does this and I would like to emulate as much as possible what they could do before.)

Is there any feature, future feature, or plugin that gives finer control over table views?

Bevil,

change the height of the first field (or button) in the tableview, than all fields will adjust accordingly.
this is a fixed height though, you can’t automaticly let fields grow in table-view, you have to use the tablebean of drMaison for that.

Harjo, you are a gem.

I will look at Dr Maison’s bean… I do need multi height fields…

side note, haven’t heard anything more about SC2009… How / when do we pay?
