I’m doing some test with the new filemaker “driver” in Servoy 3.0 which allows Servoy to connect to filemaker via filemaker web companion.
I got a connection to Filemaker and I can see all tables (files) from Filemaker in Servoy. But, if I’m creating new records or modifying records in Servoy, I’m getting the errors:
I also tried to connect with Servoy 3 Beta1 to FileMaker 6 files, without success! What did you do and where did you put which driver in the file system to be able to see the FM tables/files?
Thanks in advance for your tips, Robert

Configure the Web Companion in Filemaker. The plugin and the companion-sharing has to be active.
Configure a new DB-Server (Servoy-Preferences). Under the tab “DB Servers”. I’ve attached some screenshots.
You don’t need to install special drivers, at least on Windows. The driver comes with v3.0 beta 1. I didn’t test it yet on Mac, so I don’t know if it’s working on Mac.
I want to emphasise that it was an experiment to use hypersonic inmem database (as driver) on Filemaker to make FMP SQL92 compatible.
It’s currently slow on big FMP datafiles, does not (yet) support FMP container fields and it is not supported by Servoy at this moment.
That’s ok with me if it’s an experiment. My problem is that I can’t connect to a FM DB at all with Beta1 (on Mac OS X 10.4.5 and Java 1.5.0_05-48), but it used to work in a former Alpha Release. Did anybody successful connect to FM with this Servoy Version and OS?
Best regards, Robert
