when using Find & Replace, wrap search everything, all kinds of things are happening, but not really what should happen. I can’t really describe what goes on, but it seems to ADD the replace term instead of replacing it. This really doesn’t work right and is quite important when you have to rename something.
I haven’t seen what Patrick describes however, what I have noticed is that after multiple find/replaces after each other 2 things happen:
It looks like older find and/or replace entries are used sometimes instead of the new entries. Not always though. When I tab through all the fields in such a case more than once they are remembered.
When the changed method(s) are NOT saved it tries to replace the old data instead of the new data… This looks like somewhat logic to me since the find/replace searches in the repository and not in the method editor (I think)…
Yesterday I tried to do a find/replace in a method, clicked on ‘wrap search’, started it (in a very small method) and the CPU jumped to 100% and stayed like that for ages.
Eventually I managed to get Windows Task Manager up and then ‘end tasked’ servoy. After then restarting, my PC was not behaving normally and it’s kind of OK now, but weird things did happen.
