Finding a form's tabpanel

Has anyone figured out a way to find all the tabpanels that use a specific form? I have a solution that is growing out of control and have run up against this problem over and over again where I have a form that I think I used in a tabpanel, but can’t remember on which form that tabpanel might be. I have requested that Marcel add this to Analyzer, but I could use even a bandaid answer as soon as possible.
Thanks,
Steve in LA

Steve, I will make the lookup of used elements on a form part of the next release of the Analyzer :)

Marcel,
You both rock AND roll.

Well, thank you for the compliment :)

Rock is my left hand,
Roll is my right hand,
My brain makes the music…

Okay, just promise me one thing…

DON’T start rapping ;)

Btw, impressive app that Analyzer. Kudos!

No rap is not my thing and I certainly avoid to use my voice :)

BTW I must say I am a little proud of the Analyzer to be honest…

And you should be :!:

OK, fooled around a bit and I know how I want to retrieve the elements for a form.

Now the question: how do you want to be presented with the information.

There is more going on on a form than only the placement of tabpanels.
Can you give a suggestion how to display AFTER you played around with the Analyzer?

Thanks,

Actually, it seems like we are getting away from the intent of my original request. I am not looking for a list of the elements on a form, though that will be handy too. I am looking for a list of tab panel elements that use a particular form as one of their tabs and the form on which the tab panel element is located. Was that not clear in the first post? Is it clear now?

Once my current fire is out, playing with Analyzer is next on the list.

and the form on which the tab panel element

Sure this is clear but…
A tabpanel is an element…
And it makes no sense to only show a tabpanel since people will start asking for more…

True, but this goes further than just ‘show me the elements on form ’ or ‘show me elements whose name is ’. This is more like ‘show me forms that have tabpanel elements that use form as a tab’.

Analyzer is really an amazing piece of software, good job Marcel!! :D

Glad you like it…

OK so this

This is more like ‘show me forms that have tabpanel elements that use form as a tab’.

is about analyzing/reporting/searching :)

I am not sure we will fully implement this to begin with but we will start to give you implemented tabpanels on a form, showing the forms enclosed by the tabpanel.
