Hi there, I have looked through the forum, but cannot see how to format a number in a number column without have any comma’s in it. I have tried typing in #### in the Default format - but it still does not make a difference. I am trying to create a year as a number. Help much appreciated - as ever.
That is strange. The #### has worked for me. Did you check the setting of the field property? Is it set to default?

Just to verify, I type the #### into the table area?
Table area? Click on the field in design mode, look for the format property, enter #### and done.
Aha - I had been using the default format area under table creation (doh!). Yes this works a treat. Can you also show decimals and currency units using this formatting too?
Check out the options offered in the popup menu in the format property. Any format described here will work:
if you set it for a specific db column in the table editor and you place that column on the forum and you don’t specific the format there, it should take the tables/columns format property.
If this doesn’t work for you place make a case.
