Actually I reduced it to 679 from 1400 or so – the quick fix for capital letters in style sheets.
Is there some way to “see” beyond the first hundred warning messages? It seems like they are inaccessible.

You can configure the Problems panel (using the little down arrow pop up), choose “Configure contents…” and you should see the configure dialog. By default it is set to 100, but you can change that limit or ask to not limit at all by unchecking the option “Use item limits”:
