I have a hi-res logo in jpg format I’m trying to put on an invoice form. Whenever I print the form, the graphic is a little fuzzy and just isn’t very crisp.
If I put the same graphic in a Word document, it comes out very crisp and sharp.
I tried modifying the jpg file down to a smaller size, but nothing helped.
Is there anything I can do to get graphics to print with more sharpness?
Setting to CROP doesn’t work for me - 600 DPI image in 100px label, set to CROP
Printing prints the cropped image, not a hi-resolution image.
Setting to REDUCE prints a low-res image
This is in 3.5.6
It seemed to work ok in earlier 3.5’s…I can’t print hi-res images now - trying in label and media fields, set to CROP. reduce, no scroll, scroll when needed…none of them are printing crisp images.
Image source is PNG and GIF, very crisp when exported and printed on their own.
popdizzle:
I am also still finding it impossible to print images with any quality. Other programs print the
same image just fine.
Are there any update on this issue? I just moved an old 2.2 solution to 3.5.7 and the all the prints are now low-res (used to be just fine in 2.2).
I tried to:
set the hi-res image to crop
resize it using the formula mentioned here http://forum.servoy.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6732&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a
change JPEG with TIFF
attach images to labels instead of putting them directly on the form
Nothing seems to help: how can hi-res image printing be restored in 3.5 and later?
a very small image (32 x 33 pixels) which is a logo. If I make it bigger than 32x33, and 300dpi, and let it scale to my box, It comes out fuzzy, which is not reproduceable in anything other than Servoy…
