This is my first exploration of JavaBeans. I need a “date picker” static calendar for my solution. Click the calendar, select a date, trigger an effect, select another date, etc.
I’ve located an open source bean that seems prefect for the job at http://freshmeat.net/projects/javabeancalendar. Downloaded it and installed it in Servoy’s Beans directory, rebooted Servoy. However it does not turn up in the list of available beans.
Have I installed it correctly? Additional prep required? Is there a way to test whether the bean is compatible with Servoy? Write it off as a bad bean?
Indeed doesn’t show up in Servoy.
Maybe you can drop the programmer of this bean a note why it doesn’t?
Other option:
Check out the calendar module that Thomas Hertzler built.
Very clean coding!
You could attach a calendar to any form in your solution using a relationless tabpanel, and have more control over it then you would with a bean.
