Hide Input Mask in text field

I’ve set an input mask for a text field using the field format option - “Display Format”. However I don’t want this format to displaye at run run time. Any tip son how can I hide the format?

any visual example or text example of what you did and the current result?

My first reaction is if you set it, but don’t want it now at runtime, remove it…
But there’s obviously a reason you did this in the first place and you probably know what result you want.

Using the format properties I set the Display Format -[attachment=1]Format Property.JPG[/attachment]

The end result is: [attachment=0]End Result.JPG[/attachment]

I’m looking to have this field not display the Format.
