How do I get the HTTP Server going with Oracle?

Hi I have Oracle 10 on my XP Pro box, along with the latest Servoy Developer.

My HTTP Server for Servoy is not running. Tomcat and HTTP servers are not my area of expertise, so please excuse my ignorance.

How do I get the HTTP server running in conjuction with my Oracle 10 install on this one box. Servoy Developer is opening and connecting to my Oracle 9 server (on another “real server”) without any problem. I’ll probably switch everything to use the local 10g server on the workstation during intitial development.

Thanks for your assistance!

Guys:

Hate to be a pest, but can anyone help me with this? I know it’s a matter of changing some configuration files, but this is all too new to me to figure out. I really don’t know where to start.

Thanks!

Change all ports in the server.xml config of tomcat in your servoy/server directory. Oracle also ships with tomcat which causes the conflict.

Jan:

Thanks, that seemed to do the trick.

Diving in more now. Once I get going, I’m going to be a Royal Pain in the butt for awhile. ;-)
