Is it possible (and if yes how) to rename a solution in Servoy 5.2.8?

Yes you can. The solution can not be activated though.
Just activate another solution that is not linked to your solution. Then go into the ‘All Solutions’ node to rename your solution.

Sorry ? You don’t have to disconnect your solution from SVN, just make activate another solution in Developer.

You are actually right. When you have a solution shared in SVN (and I guess any other team server) then you can’t change the name of the solution. You do need to disconnect it re-share (I think as a new ‘project’).
