html editor in Webclient versus smartclient

Servoy 6.0.6 / HTML_AREA

in the Webclient I can cut Text inside a HTML_AREA and past it inside the same HTML_AREA
in the Smartclient the same operation leads to a new line

in the Webclient I can use CTRL-Z for “undo”
in the Smartclient it is not possible

in the Webclient I can use indents + tabs
in the Smartclient is not possible

I just wondering, if nobody else needs this features for the Smartclient ?
Maybe there is an other way to edit HTML_AREA with Smartclient ?

I’m afraid of this installer processes for many different configurations of my clients… :cry:

That means the on board editor never will be fixed for smartclient ?

The installer process of the Browser suite is for installing in Developers. And even so, what you’ve looked at is the detail of what the installer does for you. The only thing you need to do is launch the BrowserSuiteInstall.jar, follow the on-screen instructions and you’re good to go…
For clients this is totally transparent, the jars for their platform will be downloaded automatically, just like the Servoy jars and third party beans and plugins.

also my statement was not specific enough:

with “clients” I meant not the users, but my clients: If I replace the
existing foxpro solution with servoy, I have to install 35 Servoy Servers on “my”
clients server (each company with its own different server ) .

Hello out there:
How do you give your clients the possibility to format Text and print it with jasper ?

Lets say, a Form like a Memo/Note with a fix header, but a variable content-length and
fixed footer, possibilities bold, fontsize, indents, tabs, cut and paste, undo/redo
for web- and smart-client

Everybody uses the browsersuite ?
