Pleas could someone help me,
i’d like to use plugin dialog.jar in my methods, but it is impossible for me to see it, while it exists in the directory plugins, after that i installed servoy 3.1.8 on linux.
Tanks in advance
Gianni Pinna
So you don’t see the dialog-plugin listed under “plugins” in your editor?
Do you see the other default plugins, like http and file?
What did you do since installing Servoy? Anything that could have caused this?
Do you see the plugin if you do a fresh install?
Do you get a nullpointer if you run a method with:```
plugins.dialogs.showInfoDialog(“test”, “msg”, “button1”);
Tank You for Your prompt replay,
-
I don’t see the dialog-plugin listed under “plugins” in my editor.
-
I don’t see the others default plugins, liker http and file. i don’t see either "+ "near to Plugin little design.
-
I downloaded servoy_installer.jar , and jre-1_5…; then : java -jar servoy_ installer.jar. Since that moment i loaded solutions an from design mode i opened editor but i found only the word Plugin without the minus sign and whithout any default plugin.
-
Then i installed servoy on another directory whith the same effect.
-
I run a method with:
Code:
plugins.dialogs.showInfoDialog(“test”, “msg”, "button1,.
I debug it and i see :
Error
ConversionError: The undefined value has no properties calling showInfoDialog.
Hope to read You soon Mr Joas de Haan .

I never saw this problem before, it looks like your plugin-files are not accessible or corrupt. Do you have any errors in the servoy_log.txt?
Tanks again for Your prompt replay Mr Joas de Haan,
it may be an accessibility problem. Where coud I send You servoy_log.txt in order to Your analysis?
Gianni Pinna
You can put it on the forum, then everybody can have a look.
If you do a post, there should be a button “Add an attachment” at the bottom.
I am mading an attachment of servoy_log.txt.
