Idle times

We have 10-15 users in our system and nearly all of them have an idle time that is very close to the current time. This would indicate that they are not idle, yet that’s impossible with our team (they’re in meetings all the time, doing lots of other things).

Also, we have left a servoy client idle and watched the server page update repeatedly as though we are not idle. There is no unsaved data during this time, the window is minimized.

In the attached screen shot, I am sitting next to Vicki Cowles’ computer and she’s been away for at least an hour. Hasn’t touched her workstation, let alone Servoy. And it says her idle (and everyone else’s) is near the current time in the corner of the screen shot.

This is markedly different from our busy periods with Servoy 2.2.7 – we would always see people idle for an hour. Unheard of on Servoy 3.5.3.

Bug? Anyone else notice this?

Are you using a scheduler in your solution? a scheduler trigger is seen as a busy action in Servoy

I assume you mean a scheduler plugin – no such use. Nothing I can think of should be happening in Servoy while the client is idle.

Basically what’s happening here is that when any user logs off our server, the idle time of all users on the server becomes the time of that logoff. Anyone else seeing this?

Hi Ellen

Idle times seem to work as advertised on 3.5.6 - so I guess you are correct to look at the log-out function
