Image Fields

Hi, I’m new in Servoy (but who is not?) and I’m not yet able to display an image field related to a record (container field in Filemaker). Is there an easy way?. Thank you in advance.

The current version of Servoy does not support images in fields, the next version (scheduled in 2 weeks) will.

At this moment you can attach images to a label by putting the imageURL inside them, using that method you can link to local images or images located on a server (intra or internet). You could for example have a field called imageurl that contains the URL to the image. Then create a new label, double click on the text property and type (do not check the html checkbox):

Close the dialog and check the displaysTags on the label so it replaces the mergefield you used with the actual url name. Resize the label to optimize it for imagedisplay and make it transparant.
