Images not rendered in Ireport from html content

Hello,

I want to submit here a big bug that I have found in Irepot tool. I have to generate a report that must include html content. in that html content I have something like this

All other tag like are rendered but the tag is completly ignored. I get a   instead of an image.

Maybe this will help others not strugling with this issue as I did for more the 2 days!

btw: I have tried dozens of format for the image path and none worked!

The other day I wanted to use Jasper to print emails, that can also have HTML content. I found that Jasper 3 has some (very) basic support for html, or better: for certain html tags like . The number of the supported tags is below 10, so don’t expect much to work here.
