Import Directory bug on Media dialogue - Mac OS X specific

Bring up the Media dialogue, click on Import Directory. The resulting dialogue is virtually identical to the Import File dialogue. At top of the dialogue is a “Save As” field. Add a file name in this field and the OK button now becomes available. However nothing imports.

The other oddity with this dialogue is the File Format popup at the bottom of the screen – only shows “All Files”, no option of “Just Images”.

My settings:
Servoy Developer
Version R2 2.0.3-build 276
Java version 1.4.2-34 (Mac OS X)

The “Save as” field must be something apple is adding to the dialog, since this field does not exists on Windows

You can import all kind of binary data in media, it is not limited to images.

Actually it’s more than just that. The ability to import ANY media elements on Mac are just not possible via this method. Or at least I couldn’t discover it. You must import one at a time via the routine designed for importing one at a time.

I’m running Mac OS X 10.3.4.

Kind regards
