Incomplete import solution

Hi to all,
when importing my solution, the “Row Ident” and “Allow null” settings are not updated. So, for every new installation I have to set those manually.

During the import process, a message reports that the server version has no constraint and allows NULL values, while the import version doesn’t, but no option is given to update these settings.

Is there any way to overcome that ?

Recently some improvements on this were allready made. You should see those improvements in the latest 4.0 RC and in 3.5.7 when it ships.

I noticed that also sometimes the import hangs and there is no way to access the Application Server.

The only way I can access the AS again is doing a restart within Windows Services, but I have to call my provider to do that each time when that happens.

Is the hanging import a known problem (I can’t reproduce it, because after restart, the import works correctly; but it happens regularly, so it is not just a single case) and if it is known, is that also fixed in 3.5.7?

No nothing at all.

I noticed that the last 2 times that it happened, when I imported two solutions and both time the hanging happened on the import on the second solution.
