Has anyone had any luck connecting Servoy to an Ingres 2.6 database? Another complication is that fact that it’s running on an AIX 5.3 server.

The server should be no problem. What exactly is your problem? You don’t find a driver or you can’t connect?
I have not yet attempted to connect. I’m the new Dir. of IT here and simply was considering connecting to our Ingres db with Servoy as an alternative to providing development in the future.
I have recently spoken to the Ingres folks who have assured me there is a JDBC connector running on our server.

I think the question is if you have a JDBC driver for a client app like Servoy or any other Java app.
If so then download Servoy, put your ingres driver in the drivers directory and try to connect to the database.
I guess if the driver supports the proper standards then it should work fine with Servoy.
I did a websearch and found only commercial offerings for Ingres JDBC drivers.

But as much as I’m aware as long as the JDBC driver is level 2 (you can check this with the Ingres people) there shouldn’t be any problem.
