I have a 5.1 application that is delivered through the webclient.
I have a number of buttons - which have icons on them to indicate functionality.
If I resize the buttons, the icons resize nicely in developer - and when I preview within the webclient.
However, once the application is committed and viewed through IE (7 or unless the buttons are the same size as the native size of the icon (which is way too big) they are blank in the browser.
If I look at the same applet in firefox then the icons display nicely.
So it seems as though IE has problems displaying icon images on buttons that are not at the original native resolution that firefox doesnt have.
Unfortunately lots of customers have IE as their default browser and showing pile of buttons without icons doesnt look good.
Anyone seen this before? Is it a known issue? Is it another one of those knock on effects that seem to have seen as microsfot has closed the scueiry holes in IE progressively…
