we moved to Servoy 6 and created some reports with iReport 4.0.0.
But envoking the report shows nothing.
No error message - just nothing happens.
Which iReport version and which iReport plugin for the application make it run?
The problem is, that each time you create a new report using a template the language of the new report properties is set to “groovy” instead of “java”.
You should change the templates in the iReports subdirectory to create correct reports for Servoy.
You should be able to use groovy, provided that you put the groovy jar in your classpath, meaning that
1/ it must be in the /plugins/servoy_jasperreports/ folder
For developer use that’s all you need.
For real smart client, served from the server, you will also need:
2/ the groovy jar to be signed by the same certificate as the servoy_jasperreports.jar and all the jars in /plugins/servoy_jasperreports (you need to re-sign all the jars)
3/ you must alter the servoy_jasperreports.jar.jnlp to add the groovy.jar
