I’m using servoy 5.1.2, on Mac OS X 10.6.3, java version 1.6.0_20. Jasper plugin jar files 3.0.0. I copied the jasper jar files and such to the plugins folder, and when I do, if I launch the smart client, it comes up with a blank screen and nothing else happens. I let it sit while I went to lunch and came back - nothing. Take jar files out, no problem, everything launches and works fine. Any ideas?
upgraded to servoy 5.1.3 and it opens with the jasper plugins now. I’m not exactly sure what I did besides this.
could be related to the Signing Problem which came up after last Java Update?
I don’t know, but I launched Servoy this morning, and it was doing this all over again. I haven’t changed anything from yesterday. Rebooted the whole machine, and now it launches. What is this? I’ll keep watching it and try to figure it out.
Just to let anyone that happens to be following this know, I’m still experiencing this problem. I can’t get my solution to launch at all this morning. For some reason the letter “W”, “T”, and “F” keep coming to mind. I’ll have to sort that out after I figure out why this is happening.
It is definitely the jasper plugin; if I remove it, the smart client launches perfectly. Close down, put it back in, relaunch, smart client won’t open. It is perfectly reproducible.
Did you pull down the newest Jasper plugin? It is now at 3.1.0 Beta 2 (which includes a fix for an issue in the JNLP file that was causing some issues).
