Jasper with varchar(500)

Hello
In my table i have a varchar(500) column.
I created a jasper report (IReport 3.7.1)with some tablefields. I set the varchar field to stretch with overflow.
I call the report with some servoy parameters but all varchar columns are cut at 255 signs?
Does anyone know how to print these fields??

Hi Albert,

I guess the problem is with stretch with overflow. Seems there is an answer on the jasper forum to this. I think this would work if you set your text markup property to styled.

There is a text property called markup: that can be set to styled; i think that is what the post was about.
