label printing

Hi all

Would like any tips on setting up forms for small label printing.

i have 2 formats 29mm x 90mm or 62mm x 100mm but cannot find these or anything like them in the default page format dialog, and therefore getting errors when trying to print. The error seems to be in the form setup not being the correct size and I’m not sure how to enter a custom size.

This is a dedicated brother label printer (1x at a time) , i am not using a4 pages with multiple labels per form.

These are standard label sizes.

Would appreciate any help.

Thanks Westy

Got this going by playing around a lot with various page formats. settled using iso-a7 and now is working fine. Is there any way of setting the margins by method? I can set the margins in the form properties but they always seems to reset to the defaults.

Thanks again

The page margins ARE set - but not reflected when you go back into the dialog. This is due to a limitation of Java to read the page setup from the print driver(s).

Thanks Bob

Works fine

As from Servoy 2.2.6 and Servoy 3.0 rc1, you’ll be able to set custom paper dimensions. Also the bug were the marginpanel didn’t showed the actual values will be fixed.
