Loading image on form before creating PDF

I have images of signatures that I’m trying to show on a form before I create a PDF of the form, but it seems that the image doesn’t have enough time to load before the PDF is “printed”. I say this because sometimes the PDF will say “Loading Image…” where the signature image should be when I view the finished PDF.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Thanks.

Nothing?

We have seen that behavior in the past but never heard of it anymore. Are the images large?

In this case, the file is only a 40 KB JPG, and it is on the small side for these images.

What was done to resolve this in the past?

Thanks.

It was a bug that Servoy fixed… I think you should make a sample solution and add it to the ‘bug-base’…

Does it make a difference if these are in the media library or in media fields in the database?

In this case, they are in media fields in the database.

You mean in the sample solution or in real life?
I should think not, they are both stored in a db.
But for the sample I should make it so that it is closest to your current case.

Real life.

That’s what I thought, but I realized that I wasn’t clear initially.

That’s true. You should make it the same. :)
