Hi all
I have tried to move a form from one solution to other, although it doesn’t seem to work. When selecting the ‘Move Form’, a dialog pops up, I select a solution to move the form into, click ‘OK’ and nothing happens.
Any ideas?
I am using Servoy Version: 4.1.0 rc1 - build 646

Hi,
I am thinking the “Move Form” works to move form in between the Active solution & the Modules attached(If I am not wrongly interpreting). The Move Form dialog(comes up after selecting the “Move Form” option) only shows the destination solution as the attached Modules & active solution. If this is the case, then It is working okay here(4.1.0 rc2 - build 647).
i just tested this and i can move forms just fine from the main to a module and back to the main again.
Do you have any errors in the log when you are trying to move?
Note that you can use the package explorer view (or any file system view) to move/duplicate assets around between solutions.
In some cases you just need to move the directory or .obj file (relationships, value lists). In other cases you need to move the directory plus the associated .obj file (forms and media).

It’s reproducible if the target solution you are trying to move the form to does not already have at least one form in it.
