I’m completely new to Servoy. Curious as I am, I’d like to try some stuff, which has been demoed in a webinar.
The main problem I’m facing now, is that I’ve started with an completely empty workspace (using developer 7.2.x) and when I create a new form inside a new project, I would like to use the ‘navigation’ ‘style’ as the style of the form and add ‘svy_nav_base’ as a base class for the form.
But in the selection dialogs/combos none of these entries exist (to be exact: there’re no items at all).
So what do I need to do, to get these items in my project/solution/workspace?
I think you are talking about a “framework” (not sure what they call it) Servoy sells. Basically pre-built functionality common to most application types so you don’t have to start from scratch.
While you’re checking it out, be sure to compare with Data Sutra too

Yes, how can I use it? I can’t seem to get this working using that framework, because I cannot ‘add’ or ‘select’ it anywhere.
(I been looking at a tutorial which uses it and I’d like to make the demo myself to experience the look at feel of the RAd environment)

Not sure where you’d find the Servoy framework except through contacting them directly. Unless you’re talking about ServoyCommons.

Looks nice… is this also a framework?
Data Sutra is a full-on Application Management Platform. Many frameworks rolled up into one package. It is also open source so you can download it and get going with it now without any input from us. Some helpful links:
