Strange issue when running Servoy Client on a windows XP.
Unless you switch norton internet security off it comes up with a whole load of suspected Worm viruses which go on forever?
Seems a little strange seeing you click on trust the certificate.
Has anyone else found a remedy to this, apart from binning Norton, which i would do because it is pernicious.
Also if Java is not installed, it only installs version 1.4.2 from the Servoy web page. Surely given it recommends 1.5 it should be update to do this. I assume this is a servoy thing though?
The thing that worries me is we are deploying our solution to a number of doctors and while it is easy to get IT people to configure a system in the office to fit in, it is another thing to say to a load of doctors, "Bin Norton its a pile of cr.p!
I had similar issues with filemaker standalones with Norton and ended up having to install the full version.
Hey Ho, maybe they will believe me this time and dump the henous piece of junk

It sounds like Norton is to blame as per usual.
Yeah it really is a shame for such a product.
I can give you examples, of brand new PC’s with Norton installed, that where running death-slow. Opening a Word document took ages.
Unbelievable, that it is almost the most sold virusscanner in the world.
We have very good results with NOD32 and AVG antivirus. No one noticed it’s there, but doing it’s job very good!
(oke, oke, I can hear the MAC-dudes comming! )
(Normally I’m not that picky on bad software, but with this subject, you got me! )
