What about setting the field to rtf area? I use it very often and it works…

The only reason I keep the field as HTML Area is because the data is to be displayed on the web
Any way to display the rtf data on the web with all the formattings?
Thanks
Put a textarea field somewhere on your form that has the same dataprovider. Only then you can see why things not work the way you want.
Hope this helps.

Yes. I do already. Nothing happens when you copy & paste from word document.
Is there anyway to convert the rtf data to html so that I use the rtf field for display within Servoy and when I need to upload to the web I could convert to html
Is it possible?
Thanks
Hi Ahmed
You did not provide the context of this requirement - but if you only need to copy Word text to the HTML field occasionally - you could copy the Word text into Dreamweaver (or similar HTML editor) and use the HTML that it creates.

Thanks Graham.. That’s an useful option but I’m worried that I’m involving the client with an additional step which I know they don’t expect it as a solution.
So is there a plugin or bean for html to use within Servoy with all the standard functions and also way to insert tables and embed pictures from web link or a blob etc..??
Your help will save my life from my screaming clients..
Would the HTML editor plugin from HJK be your solution? I think you can find it in the plugins section…
Yes, you will find it here: http://forum.servoy.com/viewtopic.php?t=3895&start=0
I will setup some nice demos of the SHE-plugin on Servoy World!
