plugins.http.getPageData and character encoding

The plugin http.getPageData will not get text from a page encoded in Shift-JIS or other Asian languages. It gets the page but the Shift-JIS text is scrambled. I suppose it won’t do other complex encodings in other countries too.

In Japan many web site pages are still encoded this way and will be for awhile unfortunately.

I will make a support case.

The issue is corrected in Servoy 3.5.4. The result of saving the content to a file is the same as if you would do “open source” and “save”.
Please re-open it if this is not the expected behavior.
