Plugins Updated - Issue with Smart Client - Urgent

We have a situation where we had to update our it2be plugins on our app server.

After the update, some Mac smart clients were getting an error with the plugins… as if the client wasn’t downloading them.

We’ve cleared the Java files, the .servoy folder, emptied the trash and deleted any .jnlp file we could find, but the smart client still will not pull down the updated files from our server. Also, for fun, we’ve emptied the cache on the browser… just to see if that helped.

Why is this happening. This makes for a very unfun day if we’ve upgraded our server plugins and then all kinds of clients can’t get in.

Are we missing something?

Oh, also, this only effects users that have already been connected before. If it’s a new computer, everything works great.

Solved!

Had to shut down the server. Clear the server cache plugins and that did it.

servoy/application_server/server/work/Catalina/localhost/plugins/

Clear that badboy out… and you’re in business.
