Potential stylesheet issue going from 6.07 to 6.1.2?

Hi all, and good day.

I’ve posted the content of this message up in the programming section as well, but now that I’m thinking that this might actually be a problem rather than just a mistake on my part, I thought my next stop should be here.

I have a solution that I’ve just upgraded from 6.07 to 6.1.2. What I’m finding is that all of the fields whose font was controlled by a stylesheet are now displaying something different, which causes the print in the those fields to no longer fit. I’m attaching both before and after images along with this image. You’ll see in the before image that the labels on the fields all fit correctly. When looking at the “after” image, you’ll see that the fonts have apparently changed, and now overflow the field. In every case, whether the font is used to fill a field label or a button text, the font has changed and in some cases, no longer fits the area set aside for it.

Is there an additional step that needs to be done to have stylesheets work correctly that I’ve missed? Is this actually a problem? I’m unsure as to how to proceed to get this resolved. I can certainly start to play with the stylesheet and see if that makes a difference, but that doesn’t explain why this has happened, and I’d like to understand this so that I don’t have this happen whenever I do an update.

As always, thanks for any guidance that you can provide.

Have a good day.

Ron

Hi,

For now, I’ve gone back to using the default styles. I did find an error in the name of the one of the fonts I was using, which probably means that the system was ignoring that and getting the font from “someplace”, but that someplace wasn’t the default, because it was a different font than the one being displayed.

For now, the defaults will have to do.
