how can I make a vertical line grow together with the body?

I need this because I want to make my printout like a bordered table

Hi Hameed,

You can use a label that has no text and a border line on 1 side (matte border properties).

I can use a vertical line if the body height is fixed. But if there are fields within the body that grows, the vertical line does not grow along together.

I used the label with 1 px border in place of vertical line as you suggested and still got the same result.

I think the vertical line is basically a label object with one px border.

Any other idea please?

Hi,

if there is no easy solution to this, you should add this as feature request, I suspect many people run into similar issues. I don’t know how many hours I have spent in FM to try to get vertical lines to work on invoices…

Servoy should have an easier way :wink:

Can servoy team add this to the feature request?

BTW I never got FM to show verticle lines 100% proper!

I agree that this would be a good idea. However, I am working on an example soution that will show how you can do this perfectly every single time. It involves using HTML (in a body part)… Should be ready to post later this week. :D
