Printsliding pushing my elements to the top

Hi all

I am having a problem with setting up printsliding on a print form. Basically I have a 3 part form (header, body, footer). In the header I have a mergefield label which prints customer name and address, below this I have a quote_covering_note RTF area field (whose dimensions are 600,28) and which is set to grow vertically if needed (long or short notes make the header grow / shrink.) below this but still in the header I have a 640, 17 rectangle filled with light grey and black text (make, description, qty etc.), below this I have a ~10px high body part containing those fields (make, description, qty etc.), below this I have a footer containing totals and a couple of notes and terms and conditions fields.

My problem is that although printsliding works fine on all fields, the grey rectangle with text does not, if I allow it to move vertically, it doesn’t respect whats happening immediately above (the growing / shrinking rtf area) but rather previews and prints RIGHT at the very top of the page. It overlays the name / address label and messes with the whole layout. If I remove the grey box, the system seems to behave okay, but I would prefer to have some kind of background to my text and cannot think why just the grey rectangle has gone nuts.

I’d be grateful for any ideas.

Thanks

Bevil

Ciao, Bevil

try removing the rtf part (or replace it with a textarea) and see what happens.

RTF tags can be very unpredictable…
