Problem saving state of the workbench

After installing 4.1.1 I get this message when closing Servoy developer

Problems occurred while trying to save the state of the workbench.
Could not write metadata for /resources.
/Users/rioba/Servoy/workbench/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.core.resources/.projects/resources/.markers (No such file or directory)

I checked the 4.1 folder (which I duplicated before installing the new version) but I could not find any hidden folder or file with such a name. Please note that I did not make any operation with 4.1.1: just installed, opened developer and tried to close when I got this message.

Rioba,

Could it be that the file system is full?

Rob

Rob,

what you mean by “the file system is full”? If you are referring to the space available on the volume where Servoy is installed, no it’s not full: I have almost 50 GB available. And, in any case, the 4.1 folder (the duplicated previous Servoy installation) resides on the same volume of 4.1.1 and I get no error with it.

Hi folks!!!

I’ve got the same problem. Anyone has resolved it?

Best regards. Roberto Blasco

Hi Roberto,

Did you rename the directory Servoy was installed in by any chance ?
When you install Servoy some paths are hardcoded in some eclipse config files. Renaming a directory will cause these kinds of errors.

Thanks ROCLASI

That was the problem.

Best regards. Roberto.

Also, don’t rename your Servoy developer.

I filed a case for this way back and was told it was not possible to fix because of how Eclipse works or something. Wish it could be fixed though as we typically run with 20+ Serclipse installs. Some are just for testing various Eclipse plugins. A lot of name juggling to keep everything from breaking.
