Problem tabpanel from batch

Hi,

I have a problem to execute my batch, because don’t show the tabpanel data, when print to pdf file. I try to use a separated foundset but no result.

Anyone know the solution?

Welcome to the forum! :)

From what I understand you are trying to print a form that contains a tab-panel to PDF from a batch processor.
See that the tab-panel’s “printable” property is checked in form designer. By default tab-panels are not printed (because of some limitations they have when being printed - but you might not run into these if it’s a simple enough tab-panel).

All TabPanel have marked the Printable option. And executing it locally without the batch, if it works, but when I run it automatically, it does not operate.

Hmm, you are right.
It only works in smart-client.

Not only headless client (from batch), but we also saw this with printing from web-client.

We had to change, all tabpanels for portals, of stuff like that.
Maybe Andrei could look into that also…

I don’t think Francisco created a case for this. Please create one for both web-client and batch processor.

No, if we can, we don’t use tabpanels anymore in print
there are more issues, like this:

case: 173221
when I set a button the property: printable to false, than when I have that button INSIDE a tabpanel and set the form to printpreview, the buttons inside the tabpanel are still shown in the printpreview.
this is wrong, can this be fixed?

        printing tab panels is strange, and is subjected to severe limitations.
