problem using upercase (UUUUUU)

Hello,

I have a text field, length = 6. I want it to be uppercase.
When i set the format of this field to UUUUUU (6U) i can not enter text in the field.
When i set the format to UUUUU (5U) i can enter up to 5 characters.

But i want to add up to 6 characters.

Is this a limitation or a bug ??

Without setting a format, how many characters can you enter?

I can enter 6 characters.

We have created a fix for this issue in next release (3.1.6).
In the mean time, you can work around the problem by using a database column of width 7.
