Problem with sybase.config

I’m having trouble getting Servoy to recognize a new ASA database which I created with Sybase Central. I put the DB and its log in the Servoy database folder, changed the sybase.config in the sybase_db folder, and restarted the servoy server.

When I restart developer I get a message “Can’t connect to the repository server in the application preferences.” If I then take the reference to the new DB out of sybase.config developer opens fine.

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong???

what errors do you see in the sybase log file (sybase_log.txt in sybase_db directory)

Thanks for your reply. Its working ok now. The problem was due to my using a newer version of Sybase ASA than what Servoy supported – but I found a post about it and what to do and its fine now.
