i have form, where I design my stylesheet (it is in my big solution)
If I change now something in my style and do Extract, en name it the same as before, Servoy asked, do you want to overwrite?
I say yes: than the task IBSERVER.EXE jumps to 99% and I have to quit Servoy with END TASK!
If I end Servoy, IBSERVER.EXE jumps back to 0%
I had the same problem…
At first I thought it was my fault or sumthing…
So I reinstalled Servoy…whenever I rewrite a style…javaw.exe goes on 99% CPU-time en never comes back anymore…I have to quit the task.
Even if I remove the style and extract again…it goes ballistic on me.
I can’t extract any styles (other names, other forms) now without my computer getting stuck.
Using RC8 on W2000…also happened on RC7
in my case the ibserver.exe goes to 99%. not javaw.exe!
The style does extract! The next time I start Servoy, the style is correctly seen!
The only thing is, that if I extract a style, that I have to quit Servoy, because it is not responding anymore!
Sorry…you’re right…it’s ibserver that slurps 99% of CPU time.
But I have to quit the task Javaw.exe to get out of it.
The style is saved…but not everything stays in the style. For example the background color of the form is the wrong. I used a really simple form to extract (only a textlabel and a field and a the color of the form).
Am really curious when the cascading style sheet will come in effect…that sounds awesome.
Will be fixed in Servoy rc9, we optimized the query (being done under the hood)
What can I do to fix the problem.
Servoy won’t do any extracts now…
Do I have to reinstall Servoy??
Just wait for RC9! (not so long, I think!)
